The members, officers and staff of IBEW Local 14
would like to welcome you to our home page.
Establishment of this site is part of an on going effort to
inform the general public of the benefits and opportunities
available when you become a member of the International Brotherhood
of Electrical Workers.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a better standard of
living for the men, women and families in the Electric Construction
Industry. Although
ninety percent of our members are engaged in construction work, our
charter allows us to represent those involved in electric
maintenance, electrical manufacturing, electric sign,
telecommunications and some professional engineering occupations.
Jurisdiction
IBEW Local 14 has over seven hundred members
and services the western 40% of Wisconsin.
Our jurisdiction extends along a line from the southern
borders of Crawford and Richland Counties through Iron County in
Wisconsin, and Allamakee County Iowa.
In addition to our main office in Brackett, we have field
offices in La Crosse and Cumberland with representatives ready to
answer to your concerns.
Ongoing
Commitment
IBEW Local 14 is part of the ongoing training
partnership established by the National Joint Apprenticeship and
Training Committee. The
NJATC is a recognized industry leader in curriculum development and
program planning. Every
year the NJATC expends large amounts of money to upgrade curriculum
in their construction, maintenance and telecommunications
apprenticeship programs. As
technology advances our members are prepared to deal with changes
that effect our employers and their customers. IBEW Local 14 enjoys
a good working relationship with the employers and employers
association and can provide them with the most highly trained
workers in the world.
If you are interested in becoming an IBEW
member or wish to apply for an apprenticeship, give us a call.
We will be more than willing to answer your questions.
